Ground Turkey Green Chile Soft Tacos with Black Bean Cilantro Salsa
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tsp. + 1 tsp. olive oil
- 2 T Kalyn's Taco Seasoning (or use your favorite purchased taco seasoning blend)
- 1 T granulated garlic or garlic powder (not garlic salt)
- 1 1/4 lbs. extra lean ground turkey
- 1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles with juice
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) petite diced tomatoes with juice
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- salt to taste
- 6-8 small (fajita size) flour tortillas
- Green Tabasco Sauce for serving (optional but good)
- 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained well
- 1/4 large red onion, diced small
- 1/2 cup (or more) finely diced fresh cilantro
- 3 T fresh squeezed lime juice
