- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 2 T dried hibiscus petals
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1/4 vanilla bean, scraped
- 2 c cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c raw demerara sugar
- 1 egg white mixed with one tablespoon water for wash (optional)
