- 2 C crumbled chocolate malt nougat (optional)
- 1/3 C heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C sugar
- 1/2 C corn syrup
- 1/2 C water
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into 1 tbsp pieces
