- 1 c cavatappi, penne, or fusilli pasta
- 3-4 c water
- 1 medium zucchini
- 1 medium yellow summer squash
- 1 c halved cherry or grape tomatoes
- 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
- 2 T olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional for garnish)
